The Old Red Museum, also known by its official name, the Dallas County Courthouse, is an interesting piece of history that dates back to 1892, and perhaps not known to many outside Dallas. In 1966, it was replaced by a newer courthouse, and today stands out as a valuable piece of history for Dallas and locals.
There are four major franchises located in or near Dallas. This includes the Dallas Mavericks, an NBA basketball team that plays in the American Airlines Arena. The Dallas Cowboys, sometimes known as America’s Team, plays in Cowboys Stadium. The MLB baseball team Texas Rangers are technically located in Arlington, but that’s only a 25 minute drive from Texas. The Dallas Stars a professional hockey team for the NHL, and they share the American Airlines arena with the Dallas Mavericks.
